The famous actor of the English religion followed the Catholicism after playing the role of a priest, a cardinal

Sir [He, prestigious in the UK] Alec Guinness is one of the most prestigious actors of the twentieth century. Although appearing in many films for many years and receiving many awards, the most famous is the role of Obi Wan Kenobi in the war movie between stars [Star Wars]

One thing that many people did not know about him was 42, he returned to Catholicism, somewhat thanks to a miracle.

Guinness was born in 1914 in London, in a broken family. He never knew his father's face and grew up in poverty. Despite receiving additional power in the faith of the teacher at the age of 16, he was still not really sure of his beliefs in the religion. Over the years, he walked around from the elder Church, atheism, Marxism, Buddhism, and even attended several Quaker sects. But as an exemplary British citizen in the early twentieth century, he did not care about Catholic.

When he was practicing his role in Hamlet, a priest came to explain to him that he was wrong, and showed him the right way. This meeting had an impact on his soul, and he regained his favorite love.

He went further in the faith of Englishism, amidst the disorder of World War II. But in 1945, at the age of 40, he had another experience that opened him with Catholicism.

At that time, he was in France to film the movie Cha Brown, the work based on the priestly priestly character of G. K. Cheston. He was playing a supporting role, and dressed as a Catholic priest. When he walked out the road in a priest, a baby saw him and mistakenly thought he was a Catholic priest. He ran to, holding his hand full of trust, and walking with him all the way.

The child's trust and affection for the Catholic priest, had a profound impact in him, and made him start to think of Catholicism seriously. Later he explained:

'Just keep going, I ponder that a Church can make a child so confident, can create priests, though not so familiar but easy to be, it must not be a Church. Conspiracy as people often say. And I began to gradually collapse the prejudices that I have been taught, has been absorbed for a long time. ''

Shortly thereafter, his son Mathew was paralyzed and nearly dying. Desperate and seek the help of the Lord, he began to a Catholic church to pray.

He promised God, if God healed Mathew, he would leave his son to follow Catholicism if he wanted.

And even though the doctor was very pessimistic, but as the miracle, Mathew was healed. So Guinness and his wife allowed their children to attend a name field. And a few years later, he, and his wife, and his children, the whole family returned to Catholic.

Sir Guinness is still a loyal Catholic until the end of his life, 2000.
